Artisanal LA Holiday Market 12/5
It’s the 2nd Annual Artisanal LA Holiday Market!!
Eat, drink, be merry while checking names off your holiday shopping list—and finding plenty of stocking stuffers for yourself! At Artisanal LA’s Holiday Market in Old Pasadena, 150 local makers, 150 indie businesses and three city streets come together to present an all-day European market-inspired shopping experience. Open to the public and pet-friendly, the event offers a curated selection of made in the USA artisans’ wares as well as eats from some of the area’s top restaurants and cafes, food trucks and more. Browse and feel good about supporting the picturesque historic district’s independent businesses while sipping hot drinks from Copa Vida and listening to holiday acoustic musicians. Bring the kids (or family dog) and take their photo with Santa, and stop by the Info Table for goodies like collectible holiday buttons and the IndiePas guide to the area’s best independent shops, stops, restaurants. Don’t miss poetry on the fly from the Haiku Guys and a little holiday glam for your fingers at the Olive & June booth. Plus, carolers and plenty of other holiday cheer. This is a pet- and family-friendly community event. Free and open to the public!
Maker Highlights
For our Holiday Market we welcome vendors outside of our usual categories of home goods and edibles, so in addition to those, you’ll find jewelry, apparel, beauty products and more. We’ve curated an amazing group of makers and there’s really something for everyone that may be on your list. All of our vendors are handmade in LA or the USA. A few new and notable include LA’s Dill Clothing (modern apparel for kids and baby), Letterpress Chocolate, Local + Lejos (ceramics), ROE Caviar, Brothee (bone broths, including an incredible vegan mushroom broth!), Black Ring Coffee, Sigil Scent (essential oil perfumes), Jerry’s Almost Pickles, Crafted Gluten Free (a gluten free subscription service), Salt Rabbit (handmade accessories), Alabama Brown (stationery), Peri Coffee, Lutume (mini potted succulents), Gardel’s Fine Foods (Argentinian specialties), Good Juju Apothecary (ointments and tinctures), Sanctuary Urban Farm (vertical hydroponic gardens), Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, and Red Duck Foods (organic condiments). Returning favorites include Pasadena’s Grist & Toll (hand-milled heirloom flours and grains), Amanda McAulay Artisan Woodwork (stunning cutting boards, salt cellars, egg crates), Mary Lee Kitchen (gluten-free cookies also made here in Pasadena), Kahoy Kollection (bamboo eyewear), Marco Paolo Chocolates, Copper Mug Co., Quenelle Spoon, Kings Road Apothecary, Robert Siegel Studio (handmade ceramic housewares), Ag Standard (smoked almonds), and Massey Honey. We’re also excited about our out of town guests; Cocktail & Sons (bitters from New Orleans), Young America Creative (reclaimed woodwork), Bedrock Living (paleo friendly therapeutic body products from Florida) and Elvio’s Chimichurri (from NYC).
