Why is the sign in Spanish when the location is Koreatown? Because the majority of people who live in the area are Spanish speakers -- Mexicans, Salvadorans, Colombians and Bolivians. Three languages are spoken in Wilshire Center -- in terms of primary usage, English comes third behind Korean and Spanish.
