What is halvah? It is a Middle Eastern confection consisting of crushed sesame seeds in a binder of honey. This version from the Canadian company Camel is labeled ‘natural sesame bar’ for those who don’t know. MARBLE refers to this variant being vanilla with a swirl of natural chocolate. They also make plain vanilla, chocolate and other flavors.
Ingredients: Pure milled sesame seed, malted corn barely syrup, chocolate (cocoa liquor, molasses powder, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural flavor), egg whites, natural flavor, soy, lecithin as emulsifier. Where’s the vanilla???
