The orange sculpture in front of City National Bank is “Double Ascension” by Herbert Bayer, who worked on it from 1969 to 1973. It is a painted steel structure rising out of an elevated pool. You may have also seen it in the movies Marathon Man, Rush Hour 3, and Fun with Dick and Jane.
