Where is your contact form?

Q: Why does your contact form keep disappearing?

A: I get a lot of inquiries from strangers when I post a contact form. This can be fun except when I'm swamped with other more important duties, so I take it down to keep messages from accumulating.

Sorry I can't be on-call 24/7. If the form is not there, come back another time. If it's up, that means I'm ready to respond promptly.

Why this?

Whenever I post a contact form on one of my sites, I get queries from strangers who aren't interested in my services in any way. They're random surfers in search of answers to pressing questions, and for some reason seeing an empty box screaming to be filled with words entices them to type in their questions in the hopes they'll be heard somewhere.

Most I ignore, but a few are asked so despairingly and have answers that are so simple to me that I feel tempted to response. With the advent of 2007 stimulating me to create something new, I've decided to start a blog here where I can post answers to these questions!
